The Acer 4520 is dead for the second time. Need to find a good replacement with limited budget as soon as possible. And Dell inspiron mini 10v is selected.
Nice little computer, with Atom processor. I was a little unsure about its capability to perform well under big resource eater program such as Matlab. I use Matlab for my work in my university. So, the ability to run Matlab flawlessly is must for my computer.
Searching from the internet, it was only said to be able to run older version of Matlab. But suddenly I came across Mathworks website, the Matlab owner that Matlab version 2009b already support atom processor.
Wow, that was a relief. So I installed the Matlab in my inspiron mini and sure it can perform well. The performance is almost the same with pentium 4 processor. The ANN simulation run fast enough.
Now, I just need to proceed with the simulation after simulation. Hopefully can finish it as soon as possible.
